MASTER SCRATCH BAND, Belgrade, 1983

Zoran Jevtic, Zoran Vracevic and Misa Stojisiljevic composed, programmed, recorded and produced MSB project. Since the only samplers available athe time were far beyond financial reach of ordinary mortals, the trio had to employ some serious trickery to achieve the sound they wanted. Synthesizers,drum machines, vocoders and delay processors were used in a way no-one did before and the resulting technological feat was quite astonishing at the time.

The team worked with a number of contributors over a month or so in a famous studio 'DrugaMaca'. The studio time was free of charge, as the owner Enco, was so impressed and curious about the MSB's radically different music.

An LP titled 'Degoute' was published by Jugoton, Zagreb, resulting in two chart hits and a number of TV appearances.
